Events Crew

Bring your passion for events and enthusiasm for teamwork to the Oklahoma City Thunder. We are seeking reliable, detail-oriented individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and who are dedicated to delivering top-tier events. As an Event Crew Member, you will play a key role in the success of our team and partner events, from setup to breakdown.

In this role you will:

  • Greet and assist attendees with a welcoming and positive attitude
  • Promptly address attendee concerns and escalate issues as needed to the appropriate team members
  • Assist with transporting and setting up event equipment, including engagement stages, and sound systems
  • Ensure event spaces are prepared according to specifications, with signage, displays, and audio visual (AV) equipment properly in place
  • Dismantle and pack event materials, ensuring all items are safely stored post-event
  • Manage event tasks such as registration, crowd control, and addressing guest inquiries
  • Supervise cleanliness and maintain the organization of event spaces throughout the event
  • Perform other duties as assigned

What you will bring to this role:

  • Previous experience in events, hospitality, or customer service is preferred but not required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Keen attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
  • A basic knowledge of AV equipment setup is a plus

Additional Information:

This is a part-time position reporting to the Event Presentation Lead. The work schedule includes evenings, weekends, and holidays throughout the team’s season. Physical demands include walking, standing for extended periods, and lifting and carrying heavy items. Events may take place in both indoor and outdoor venues with varying temperatures. The primary location will be the Paycom Center in downtown Oklahoma City, with frequent events around the metro area. This role requires a valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and reliable transportation for local travel.  Employees are encouraged to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19.
