Fan Experience Exhibit Driver & Operations Associate

Join our Fan Experience Team and help bring Tunder Basketball to fans across Oklahoma and beyond! The Fan Experience program is an important part of our marketing and community outreach efforts, featuring the OG&E ThunderBolt, a traveling exhibit vehicle that delivers an interactive Thunder Basketball experience. The ThunderBolt includes fan activities for all ages, such as trivia, game highlights, and more, giving guests the chance to fully immerse themselves in the excitement of the Thunder. As a Fan Experience Associate, you will be responsible for driving and transporting the ThunderBolt trailer to scheduled events and appearances.

In this role you will:
  • Drive the ThunderBolt and Fan Experience Associates safely to all local and regional appearances
  • Assist with setting up and breaking down the ThunderBolt mobile display, ensuring all event activations are implemented and maintained before, during, and after events
  • Conduct routine pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the ThunderBolt and all equipment are safe, clean, and event-ready
  • Serve as a brand ambassador at events, directly engaging with fans and enhancing their experience through interactive displays and activities
  • Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel usage, and event documentation for internal reporting
  • Navigate efficiently to event locations using GPS and regional road knowledge to ensure timely arrivals
  • Support event logistics by assisting with coordination, scheduling, and communication for ThunderBolt appearances
  • Occasionally perform non-event day tasks in or out of the office as needed
  • Stay informed about Thunder players, memorabilia, and key facts to share with fans during events
  • Represent the Thunder brand with professionalism, enthusiasm, and excellent customer service at all times when interacting with fans, partners, and vendors
  • Perform other duties as assigned

What you'll bring to the role:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Experience driving a full-sized truck is required
  • Familiarity with towing trailers and hitching trucks is highly preferred
  • A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) license is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse groups of people
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Strong problem-solving skills with adaptability to adapt to changing situations and event needs

Additional details:
This is a part-time, hourly position reporting to the Thunder Mobile Experience Coordinator. The work schedule will not exceed 30 hours per week and will include evenings, weekends, and holidays. Work locations will vary based on ThunderBolt appearances and event needs. Must have a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and be able to travel overnight when required. Physical demands of the role include the ability to lift and carry heavy items, stand for extended periods, and participate in activities such as shooting baskets, retrieving basketballs, and working outdoors in various weather condition.
