Ticket Office Representative
The Oklahoma City Thunder Ticket Office is hiring a part-time Ticket Office Representative to support ticket sales and service during home games for both the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Oklahoma City Blue, as well as special events at the arena. This role works closely with the ticket operations and guest relations teams in a fan- focused environment. Strong customer service skills are essential for success in this position.
In this role you will:
- Greet guests courteously at the box office, answer questions, and direct them to the appropriate locations
- Assist with guest needs and resolve issues or complaints promptly and professionally
- Become knowledgeable in pricing, discounts, promotions and Thunder policies and procedures to accurately inform guests
- Stay informed on all Thunder, Blue, and arena events
- Assist with game day box office setup and closing procedures
- Coordinate and stock supplies for the ticket counter windows on game days
- Keep the work area organized and clean, including occasional maintenance of box office equipment
- Demonstrate good judgment and decision-making skills
- Perform other duties as assigned
What you’ll bring to the role:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Experience with computerized ticketing systems such as Archtics and/or Ticketmaster Host is a plus
- Excellent communication skills and experience working with people from diverse backgrounds
- Strong comprehension of basic mathematics with prior experience in payment processing
- Ability to learn and retain team and arena information
- Comfortable working in a fast paced, multifaceted customer service environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Additional details:
This is a part-time, non-exempt position reporting to the Ticket Operations Coordinator. The work schedule will vary based on event and game dates and may include evenings, weekends, and holidays. The primary work location is the Paycom Center in Oklahoma City.
