GUEST RELATIONS RESEARCH COORDINATOR

The Oklahoma City Thunder is seeking an individual with excellent communication skills to provide key administrative support. Your primary responsibilities will include using your research and analytical skills, along with your experience in hospitality or marketing in the world of professional sports. As a Guest Relations Research Coordinator, you will provide timely, personalized, and thoughtful responses to all survey feedback received during the regular season.

In this role you will:

  • Be responsible for survey feedback programs, with assistance from the Database Operations department
  • Read and respond to all survey feedback within a timely manner, as collected through our survey programs
  • Develop and reply to annual comprehensive feedback trend reports received through survey platforms and direct Guest communications
  • Facilitate the 100% Guest Care recognition platform to celebrate staff with outstanding secret shop results
  • Research education training methodologies and industry trends to aid the department in the development of the "CLICK! With Your Guests" certification training platform
  • Provide support to our Fan Advocate email and other Guest feedback channels
  • Perform various administrative support tasks, including, but not limited to, filing, data entry, and schedule coordination
  • Assist during game nights by working at the Fan Information Booth and/or handling live chat communications
  • Other duties as assigned

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • Background or experience in a sports marketing, analytics, or communications is preferred
  • Highly proficient in computer applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Bi-lingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus
  • Highly organized with attention to detail even under pressure
  • Polished communication skills and strong social skills
  • Strong problem-solving and creative skills to work through stressful situations in a Fan-centric manner

Additional information:

The work schedule will include office hours as well as select evenings, weekends, and holidays for select events. Physical requirements of the job include bending, walking, or sitting for extended periods of time and the ability to lift 25 pounds. Primary work location is the Paycom Center in Oklahoma City. This is a full-time, non-exempt position reporting to the Manager, Guest Relations. Employees are encouraged to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19.
