Thunder Experience Studio Assistant

The Oklahoma City Thunder is seeking a full-time Assistant to support our fan-facing Thunder Experience Studio operations. The Thunder Experience Studio is a one-of-a-kind space designed to preview the future arena and deliver a meaningful guest experience. This entry-level role combines administrative support with exposure to sales, premium hospitality, and cross-functional revenue-generating teams through collaboration with departments across the organization.

In this role you will:

  • Serve as the primary assistant for Thunder Experience Studio appointments, ensuring sessions begin on time and stay aligned with schedule flow
  • Welcome guests with a professional, personalized approach that sets the tone for a premium, hospitality-forward experience
  • Assist with calendars, studio schedules, and room transitions in coordination with Sales, Membership, and Guest Relations teams
  • Support sales and service staff by preparing materials, updating documents, coordinating guest check-in, and maintaining an organized studio environment
  • Track appointment attendance, pacing, and follow-up items to support revenue-generating activities
  • Communicate effectively across departments to help keep studio operations aligned, efficient, and consistent
  • Handle administrative responsibilities, including email correspondence, appointment confirmations, document maintenance, and internal coordination
  • Provide on-site support for special events, VIP visits, and high-profile appointment days with professionalism and composure
  • Complete occasional local travel to support operational needs, including pickups, drop-offs, and related requests
  • Perform other duties as assigned

What you'll bring to this role:

  • One year of relevant professional experience, preferably in customer service, hospitality, sales coordination, event operations, or administrative support
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Respect for confidentiality and experience protecting sensitive data
  • Strong organization and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills with a calm, confident, and courteous approach
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to anticipate and support operational needs
  • Comfort working in fast-paced, guest-facing environments
  • A positive, team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn, grow, and contribute

Additional information:

This is an hourly position reporting to the Manager, New Arena Business Development. The work schedule includes regular office hours with occasional evening or weekend duties for special events. Primary work location is the Thunder Experience Studio located in downtown Oklahoma City. Must have valid driver’s license and transportation as some local travel may be required.
