General Description
Project Director will provide leadership in developing the services and operation of the Hispanic Chamber Women’s Center/Small Business Procurement Program
Supervision:
The Project Director of the Hispanic Chamber Women’s Center/Small Business Procurement Program
reports to the President/CEO of the Hispanic Chamber.

Essential Functions
- Will implement all processes and establish partners and curriculum for the program, will coordinate the intake process and develop workshops for participants. Performs: various duties as needed to successfully fulfill the function of the position, including:
- One on one counseling sessions for all entrepreneurs wanting to open or expand their business
- Will coordinate and facilitate the Hispanic Chamber Small Business Procurement Program to open opportunities for participants
- Will help fill out applications to certify small businesses for State and Federal contracts
- Will facilitate participants to access funds for their businesses
- Will work with Chamber staff as needed as directed by the President
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) required – strong verbal and written communication skills in both languages.
- Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Entrepreneurship, or related field or a minimum of 3–5 years of equivalent business ownership, management, or consulting experience.
- Demonstrated ability to support small business development and women entrepreneurs.
- Knowledge of financial literacy, business planning, and access to capital.
- Strong networking skills and ability to build partnerships with community organizations, lenders, and stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational, presentation, and facilitation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and digital business support tools.
- Experience working with minority- and women-owned businesses.
- Familiarity with Small Business Administration (SBA) and Women’s Business Center (WBC) programs.
- Knowledge of local economic development resources, chambers of commerce, and nonprofit community networks.
- Grant writing and reporting experience.
- Experience developing and delivering business training workshops.
- Ability to analyze business financials and provide technical assistance to entrepreneurs.
