Description
Home Buyer Education helps dispel homeownership myths, link prospective home buyers and protects home buyers from predatory lending practices and overcome barriers to homeownership.
Post-purchase counseling entailed in workshop is provided to show new homeowners how to protect their investment, and manage the new expenses and responsibilities of homeownership. Informing home buyers about home maintenance, seasonal upkeep, energy conservation, and money management in an effort to prevent defaults and foreclosures.
All home buyers are required to attend Community Action Agency of Oklahoma City's Home Buyer Education Workshop prior to participating in the Home Buyer Programs. Please visit www.caaofokc.org to learn more about our Home Buyer Programs.
