Domestic Violence Shelter Advocate – FT/PT/Relief

YWCA Oklahoma City is currently seeking Domestic Violence Shelter Advocates for a variety of shifts.

Shelter Advocates will assist survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking at the YWCA Emergency Shelter through trauma informed service delivery. This includes answering crisis hotlines and assisting residents and their children with advocacy, safety planning, support, and crisis intervention. 



Minimum qualifications include two years of college (preferably in a related field), strong listening skills, computer skills, and strong written & verbal communication skills. Relevant experience preferred and bilingual skills preferred.
