IT Technician

If you are a dedicated teammate with a desire to provide front line IT support for Thunder staff and assist with technology projects, this could be an ideal launchpad for you to gain experience in the constantly evolving world of professional sports technology! We are looking for IT professionals to join our team in this part-time role for the 2022-23 Thunder Season. As the IT Technician, you will be responsible for IT and general technology support in our corporate office at Paycom Center.
 
In this role you will:

  • Provide outstanding IT customer support across a variety of systems
  • Follow established procedures to setup, and troubleshoot various technology and IT systems
  • Troubleshoot and repair hardware, software, A/V and network problems
  • Maintain spare parts’ inventory, ensuring backup items and systems are available and working
  • Perform other duties as assigned
 
 
What you’ll bring to the role:
  • Solid understanding of Windows operating systems and basic computer hardware and software
  • Experience with installation and maintenance of computers, cabling, and A/V equipment
  • Understanding of basic networking and printing concepts
  • Interact and work efficiently with colleagues from various backgrounds
  • Work calmly and competently under pressure and in adverse conditions
  • Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and strong troubleshooting skills
  • A positive demeanor with good interpersonal and communication skills
 
Additional Details:
Employees will be required to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19. All religious, medical, or other legally recognized exemptions regarding vaccination status will be considered. Work schedule will be approximately 20 hours per week with some variance. Ability to maintain a flexible schedule, include occasional evenings, weekends, and extended hours as needed. Physical requirements of the job may include lifting approximately 50 pounds, climbing ladders and crouching and crawling under tables. The primary work location will be Paycom Center located in downtown Oklahoma City. This is a part-time, non-exempt position working with the Director, Information Technology.
