Bilingual Mortgage Loan Officer

Allegiance Federal Credit Union is seeking a  Bilingual (Spanish/English) Loan Officer who is responsible for gathering required information for accurate completion of mortgage/consumer loan applications, adhering to the credit union lending policies and regulations. This position will provide exceptional member service and always project a positive and friendly image for the credit union through interactions with members and co-workers. Attendance is an essential function of performing the duties of this job.
 

	70%	Assist members in starting the mortgage loan process. Interviews and interacts with mortgage loan applicants and ensures that complete, accurate information and documentation are received from and provided to applicants prior to forwarding the application to the underwriter. Explains loan options, rates, terms, and collateral requirements. Communicate loan decisions and conditions to the member.
	10%	When needed, assist Spanish-Speaking members with questions about consumer products such as auto loans, signature loans and new accounts. Be able to efficiently enter loan applications for these members in Lending 360.
	10%	Use business development skills to cement relationships with outside organizations in the Hispanic community. This would include, but not be limited to non-profit organizations, schools, foreign consulates, and chamber organizations.
	5%	Assists members and potential members with their telephone, video, and online requests; answers questions about lending products and services and resolve problems that are within their authority to resolve; refer problems beyond authority, along with recommendations, to supervisor.
	5%	Performs other related duties as assigned.
